Kensington House
Kensington House will be our next purpose built care home in Consett, bringing the Hampton Manor standard of care to more families in the area. Designed across four storeys in warm red brick, it will have 60 bedrooms, every one with its own en suite wet room, as well as assisted bathrooms, landscaped planting and on site parking. Full planning permission has been granted, construction is due to start in early 2027, and the home will open in 2029.
We will share updates here as the home takes shape, including key milestones, opening dates and how to arrange a visit.

Memorable artwork, including murals of traditional local shopfronts and framed images of the North East, to help residents find their way.
